Consider the size you need now and whether this will need to expand in the next few years. You don’t want to have to upsize in a year or two if your family grows and you need space for more food! - Space
Where is your fridge going to go? Does it have a designated space? Make sure you measure the space for your fridge as a couple of cm can make all the difference to your fridge fitting, or not! Consider the aesthetic of your space too, fridges come in various colours and finishes so you want something that will match with the colour scheme of your kitchen. - Food habits
Some fridges come with quick access doors, which can be super handy if you’re always grabbing the milk (or wine) out of the fridge. This means you don’t have to continually open the whole fridge and alter the temperature. - Fridge style
Fridges generally come in four styles; French doors (two doors open outwards with freezer at the bottom), side by side (two doors open outwards with fridge and freezer placed next to each other), top freezer (freezer on top, fridge on bottom), bottom freezer (fridge on top, freezer on bottom). Each variation does the job but one may work better with your home and lifestyle! - Technology and features
